from.Kat welcomes both domestic & international orders. We send all of our
parcels using New Zealand Post which charge shipping based on the weight of
your purchase.
Please
know that Big Cartel does not have the capability to combine your shipping
charges. Therefore, when purchasing multiple items it will overcharge you at
checkout in most cases. However, it is our policy to ALWAYS refund shipping overcharges of more than $2,
so please rest assured that IF you are overcharged in postage then we will
refund you the difference.
If
you would prefer to arrange a custom order with a more accurate shipping amount
that is not a problem. Please just email us using the "contact" tab
with a list of items you would like to purchase and we am more than happy to
set you up a custom order. Please just be aware that we may sell out of an item
you are planning to purchase in the meantime, in which case we will notr be able
to offer you that item if it is no longer available.</
Domestic
Shipping Prices

All items shipped to a New Zealand address will be sent as tracked mail
Orders
under $50 will be a $5 flat fee for delivery or $7.80 flat fee for rural
delivery
Orders
over $50 will be free delivery metro areas or $3 for rural delivery
International
Shipping
**
Please just be aware that International items are not sent as registered mail.
Ordering is therefore at your risk.
There
are 2 charts for sending International items. The first is the cost for sending
as a large letter - to qualify for this lower rate, the parcel must be less
than 10mm in thickness and under 200 grams. After that prices are charged at
small package rates. I do my best to economise on shipping costs e.g. size and
weight where possible. Please see the relevant table.
Large
Letter size:
up
to 200 grams (e.g 3-4 fat quarters) = $4.00
Parcel
Rates for Australia:
$7.50
for the first 200 grams then an extra $1 per 100 grams thereafter
For
example a package of 900grams will be $7.50 + $7 = total of $14.50
Parcel
Rates for Rest of World:
$13
for the first 200 grams then an extra $3 per 100 grams thereafter
For example a package of 900grams will be $13 + $9 = total of $22
